Hi all,
I've had a full Zabbix server running happily in our head office now for around 6 months and I've never had a problem. I'm mainly monitoring network devices using only the default switch templates, as they seem to give me the information I need (mainly traffic on interfaces) for all our devices - routers, firewalls etc...
I deployed a proxy server to one of our satellite offices with the intention it would feed the data back into the main zabbix server.
The deployment went Ok, the proxy can communicate with the primary. However, the proxy doesn't seem to be able to deliver any information from the hosts it's monitoring - I just don't get anything coming back. I get periodic messages in the log resembling the below:
1533:20140515:091131.335 enabling SNMP agent checks on host "ASA1": host became available
Cannot find module (SNMPv2-MIB): At line 1 in (none)
Cannot find module (SNMPv2-MIB): At line 1 in (none)
Which suggests there's a problem with the Mibs installed on the proxy I think?
I'm not sure if this is a problem with snmp on the box and not Zabbix? Either way, any ideas as to a fix would be welcome.
Many thanks,
Cro
