Hallo!
I want to install Zabbix into a larger environment. Therefore I must have the possibility to set a group of services in maintenance mode. I know there is no way to define a service-group, but the workaround for trigger based maintenance is a compromise.
Unfortunately this does not work if you make heavy use of low level discovery rules. Today I noticed that it is not possible to define individual trigger dependencies for discovered Items/Triggers. I want to register hundreds of databases and webservices automatically and set dozens into maintenance but still want to monitor the health of the hosts.
I would be very grateful for a solution or a workaround of this problem.

- It is no option to set the hosts to maintenance.
- Is there a way to (mass) copy the discovered items/triggers to the host-object?
- How do other people deal with this szenario in daily business?
I would be very grateful for a solution or a workaround of this problem.
