Our current monitoring system has a function that counts the number of rows returned form a OID. The specific OID that i have is 1.3.6.1.2.1.6.13.1.3.172.25.20.22.25, note that the IP is in there a well. We vairy the last number to the port that we wish to see. This gives us a listing of the current connections on xyz port number. Simple and basic, but it works. The issue, i can't find out how to create a count or sum function in Zabbix. I'm sure there is a method, but i don't see one.
