    Item Value in graphs

    Hi
    I got problem with putting item value in graphs. It is not fully working.
    When I want to choose a graph I got item value as name but it is not working for label directly above the graph. What might be a problem?
    Please see attachment

    Thank you.

    Depending on Zabbix version you are using, {HOSTNAME} macro might have got replaced with {HOST.HOST}.

    Please check https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...ed_by_location

      Hi
      Thank you for replay. My fault. I got version 2.2.1. I try with HOST.HOst and is still the same. No difference

        Try {HOST.NAME} instead and check once more list of supported macros in official documentation and where they are supported.

          Hi
          Thanks for replay
          We got 2.2.1 version so according to this link HOST.HOST macro is supported also HOST.NAME. I try both and result is the same as on printscreen, I tried HOST.HOST1 HOST.NAME1 and nothing chnage.

            According to https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...ed_by_location, only {host:key.func(param)} expressions are supported in Graph names. That is, functions, like in triggers, can be used.

            E.g., I have the following in the graph title: {{HOST.HOST}:system.hostname.last(0)}

            Can you please post, what exactly you have in your graph title and what is the desired result.

              Hi
              This is what I got in graph title
              Gi1/0/1 {{HOST.HOST}:GigabitEthernet-1-0-1-NAME.last(0)}
              And in graph tab when i want to choose graph the graph name is ok as on screen
              But Graph title itself is not ok it got Gi1/0/1 {{HOST.HOST}:GigabitEthernet-1-0-1-NAME.last(0)} instead of value
              I want to have in both places the same (value of item)

                GigabitEthernet-1-0-1-NAME does not look to be any standard Zabbix function.

                Can you give details about the Item, where this is described. What is the type of the Item (e.g. Zabbix agent, etc).

                    I've tryed to add a SNMP v2 item from a device in my environment. For me the following expression - {{HOST.HOST}:ifDescr.67.last(0)} is working correctly in chart title.

                    I am using Zabbix 2.2.2. Can you try it with that version? If not, can you give more datails about where is your version is coming from - compiled from sources, downloaded from zabbix.com or installed from some distribution's repository?
