Monitor service only where it is installed

hello
is there a simple way to automatically apply templates based on service discovery ? for example if i have 10 windows servers , only 3 of them have IIS installed. how can i monitor the IIS server template only to the correct servers, and if i will install IIS on another server i would like it to be added to the iis servers that are monitored.

Not that way. You apply teamplates to host. You need your template to discover IIS, If template discover IIS it will populate correct items/triggers/graphs. It is called LLD.
