    CPU Load on Linux

    Hello,
Just started using Zabbix. I'm noticing that the CPU Load on some of my servers is relatively high as per reported by top or sar -q (For example, 5-6 consistently on one of my servers) However, Zabbix is reporting load numbers in the range of .06 - .10. Is something misconfigured or is Zabbix reporting this metric in some different way? Thanks.

Can you upload some pictures of both scenarios?

I think I may have figured it out. It appears that the CPU Load item (as comes with the OS Linux template) takes the CPU load from the system (The numbers many of us typically look at via top/sar) and then divides that by the number of cores. In the example that I posted here, although the CPU load as reported by top/sar is around 6, the server in question has 72 cores. (6 / 72 = .083) This is different from how Big Brother reports it. BB uses what top/sar displays.
