Hi all!

I'm trying to send "zabbix events" from my Zabbix server to a log file. Is there a way to extract this events (when a trigger came up or down) and put it into a file?. I know that I can define an action for every trigger but I dont know if there is an other way.

I think an action would be your best bet.

Just create the action for all triggers up/down, and then have it append the trigger variables to a local log file you want to keep.

Changing the zabbix server log to debug would likely also capture this information. The only other way I can think of could be to cron/schedule a script that extracts the data from your database directly.
