Help with SNMPWALK / Snmp monitoring

I'm new to debian & Zabbix so bare with me. I have got 2.2.3 installed and, working correctly monitoring with agent. I want to only monitor VIA SNMP for switches/printers/routers/hubs etc. you get where I'm going. I'm having issues getting the OID's to monitor SNMP, and need some help / direction to keep growing my Zabbix project. SNMPbuilder seems logical, but I'm having trouble following this post. << https://github.com/atimonin/snmpbuilder >> Like i said I've done good so far to build myself, but I have been stuck in same spot for 2 days. Need little more explination on setting up SNMP monitor for NIC/traffic etc. Please help if ya can.

    Thanks in advance!

Check the documentation : 3.3 Discovery of SNMP OIDs

It will help to create your own Low-Level Discovery rule for creating the interfaces Items automatically.

One more way - if you lucky enough - download the template from Zabbix Templates Library : https://www.zabbix.org/wiki/Zabbix_Templates

And the last chance is to check Zabbix Cookbook forum - https://www.zabbix.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=11
    Sincerely yours,
    Aleksey

        Trouble Importing templates

I'm uploading a cisco 3750-48 port switch to my template lists, along with some other switches/templates. After i upload it gives me this error

Item "{HOSTNAME} :ifOutOctets.10001" does not exist.

Other templates giving me issues, also but getting help with this one will point me in the right direction to import others.

Also after uploading templates for SNMP how would i turn on auto discovery where it will automatically start finding my devices?

        Thanks for looking!
