How can I manually reset a problem status

    Hi,

I changed the hostname and /etc/passwd of a monitored machine and correctly get a "Host information was changed ..." and an "/etc/passwd was changed ..." event and the trigger started sending notification mails.

Since this change was ok - i want to reset the event status back to "OK".
    How can I do this?

BTW: I can acknowledge these events and i can configure the notification action to not send the mail if acknowledged - but the Monitorpanel and Screens still show these as Warning/Information.

    Thanks
    Manfred

    Hello Manfred,

If you are using the default Zabbix template, your password trigger should be set to OK state after one hour because the checksum of "/etc/passwd" is checked by default every 3600 seconds. Since trigger compares the latest received value to previous one, you should be OK already by now.

Please see Zabbix documentation here: https://www.zabbix.com/documentation...ers/expression
Example 3 on this page is exactly your case.

    Best Regards,
    Ingus
