Hi!
First post here. Home user using Zabbix 4.2 on Ubuntu.
I am using Zabbix mainly because i want to see spikes in traffic which may or may not kill my broadband performance. For this i am monitoring my NetGear GS510TPP ProSAFE 8-Port Gigabit Smart Managed Switch. Zabbix has discovered the switch ports and i have created some graphs for them.
The issue is that for the ports that are up, i see the same traffic volume for every port. This is absolutely wrong because my devices vary from a Raspberry pi DNS cache to a broadband streaming box. I suspect that i am looking at the traffic on the backplane of the switch somehow.
How can i troubleshoot this?
Second question, i have not seen (yet) in the documentation how i can load the MIB for my switch in Zabbix. Any pointers to how or where this is done?
Thanks,
Ton.
