Network Discovery Questions - applying actions?

    Using Zabbix 4.2.

I have a variety of network discovery rules that are accurately picking up hosts.

I have actions that are accurately matching hosts and adding them to the monitored state with the appropriate groups, templates, etc.

I also have a slew of devices discovered with no action applied. This is expected. They show up as discovered hosts, but unmonitored.

If I alter an action or add a new action which would apply to these previously discovered hosts, will they ever be re-evaluated against those actions? If so, when?

If not, I see no option in the API to perform a dhost.delete so that they may be re-introduced through another discovery run. What is the best way of clearing out those unmonitored hosts so they can be rediscoverd and re-evaluated?

    Thanks!

I'm seeking a similar solution. I've baked an AWS AMI that will allow any new boxes that are spun to auto-register; however, I cannot figure out how to "automagically" remove these hosts after I terminate the instance! I don't have Zabbix python (can't use in my env), and can't figure out how to trigger an API call to remove the hosts.

I'd appreciate any assistance on this!

    Thanks!
