automatic host inventory

Hi,

I need to configure Zabbix for a big network. So, I would like to create a template for configure automatically the "host inventory" (hostname, OS, hardware infos, etc...)

So, I created a template called "host_inventory".
In this template they are for instant 5 items :
Hostname > Key : system.hostname > Populates host inventory field : Name
OS > Key : system.sw.os[full] > Populates host inventory field : OS (full details)
etc...

After that, I linked my hosts with this template and configure "Host Inventory" on "automatic".
All is good.

The problem is, when I go in "Inventory" > "Hosts" > "Name_of_my_host"
The tab "Details" is grey and I can't see anything.

Somebody can help me to resolve this problem ?

Hello!

Did you check Monitoring -> Latest data that your items are gathering information in the first place?

What happens if you fill some inventory details directly into the host card? Is the Details tab still greyed out then?
