    Trigger for item with long interval

    I have a custom trapper item that I'm using to monitor the status of an IP camera on an NVR. The NVR sends a zabbix trapper message under the following two circumstances:
    1) Every five minutes the status of all cameras are sent in; regardless of if there are any changes or not.
    2) Immediately, if a camera's status changes, a trapper message is sent.

    I have the ability to change the timer of #1 so the NVR could push status of all cameras in more/less frequently, but it seems silly to do it more often when we get message pushed the instant a camera goes down.

    My issue is creating a trigger for these items that is not too sensitive. I don't want an email because a camera goes offline for two seconds. I want an email if it's down for, say, 2 minutes. But if I use item.min(2m) or anything like that, it triggers instantly unless I'm within two minutes of the five minute cycle since the "pushed" value the ONLY value within two minutes.

    Is there any way to design a trigger so that it's more of a delay? In trigger-psuedo-code:

    item.status==OFFLINE AND now()-item.status.timestamp>2m
