    Zabbix queue problem

    Hello All,

    I have a weird problem. I recently restarted my zabbix proxy and normally the queue spikes and in a few hours it goes back down. However, this was 3 days ago and the queue for this proxy is at 1K plus for missing items for 10 minutes. None of the servers under this proxy are missing any data. However, when I look at the queue by detail I see some of the items in the queue are actually longer interval items. This does not make sense. It has never counted these as missing data items before. Has anyone experienced this problem before?

    Any kind of help would be appreciated.

    1) time difference between zabbix server and zabbix proxy?
    2) zabbix proxy are monitoring by zabbix_proxy?

      The proxy is monitored by itself and we have the servers within less than one minute from each other.

          Hi,

          What exact versions of Zabbix are you using on your server and proxies?

          Looks to me that you are experiencing this issue with incorrect queue calculation: https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBX-8476
          If you look at the queue from server side, then you see everything red. If you look from the proxy side, then proxy thinks everything is ok so technically the data have been sent.

          ZBX-8476 seems to be solved but I don't know when and in which version it will be fixed.
