    Cisco Aironet SNMP help

I've been using Linux on/off for the last 9 years but this is my first Zabbix server.

Currently I'm trying to get Zabbix to monitor the Signal Strength of a Cisco Aironet 1300. Using a windows snmp tool I found the OID to be
    .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.273.1.3.1.1.3
but Zabbix errors out saying that the OID does not exist. I search the forum and found info on how to load all MIBs required for snmpwalk to find my data. Walking the OID i get
    CISCO-DOT11-ASSOCIATION-MIB::cDot11ClientSignalStrength.1."Superawesome_Br idge".'..J).`' = INTEGER: -60 dBm
My understanding of the problem is that initially Zabbix did not know how to interpreter the OID. Now that I have the MIBs in the
    /usr/share/snmp/mibs/
and snmpwalk can use them, there should be no problem in Zabbix using them.

    What am I doing wrong?

Zabbix Appliance ver. 2.2.2 (Preload ISO)

After working with the issue for a week, I decided to drop Zabbix and in favor of NetXMS.

I really enjoyed the interface and was fairly easy to understand coming from WhatsUp Gold. Unfortunately the SNMP logging was inconsistent and my graphs were missing data or had no data at all (which defeats the point of having an NMS).

My own experience lead me to use only(!) numerical value for OID.
So, in your case I advice to create an Item with SNMP OID 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.273.1.3.1.1.3

Sometimes, some hardware needs to add "zero" as the final symbol of OID and your OID will look like:
      1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.273.1.3.1.1.3.0

I hope that this information will help you somedays.
I'm so sorry that you switched to different product.
      Good luck with new experience.
      Sincerely yours,
      Aleksey
