zabbix proxy update

[ggggsc]

Hi, I've got a proxy (v3.4.15),and a server (v4.2.1)
I want to update my proxy to v4.2.1,but faild.
I've no idea why, could anyone help me?

After updating the zabbix-release package, try clearing the yum cache once.

# yum clean all

The command line you executed is incorrect.
# yum upgrade zabbix-proxy

Execute the following commands as described in your first post.
# yum upgrade zabbix-proxy-mysql

I was wrong.
The Zabbix proxy you are running does not seem to have been installed with the package. The path you have run is:
/usr/local/zabbix/sbin/zabbix_proxy

You can not upgrade with the yum command. It may be necessary to do a fresh install from a package or source.
