I'm hoping to start a discussion here on the use of notifications. Have people post different notification messages, discuss escalation examples, etc.
I'm still in the process of building and learning, but I"m thinking of setting up a escalation path of first sending emails to the engineers for all triggers during business hours, send a repeat after half an hour via email, send another reminder via sms after an hour. Then I want to setup another rule for after hours where we can setup the responsible engineer who has the afterhour-support-shift for that week, with the same setup, but include an extra reminder to the other engineers.
I'm looking forward to hearing other setups/ideas/concepts.
