Sending alerts via Amazon SES

I am unable to figure out how to make send alerts via Amazon SES service, has anybody ever tried this out. Please help.

I'm trying to do the same thing

I've been trying to get this to work using this python script: https://bitbucket.org/superdaigo/zabbix-alert-smtp/src

But unfortunately it's been a no-go for me.

I'd be very interested to hear if anyone else has gotten this working. I've also looked into using nullmailer based on this: http://www.e-artspace.com/home/blog/...ith-amazon-ses
but haven't gotten it working yet.
