Hello,
We are moving from Solarwinds to Zabbix for monitoring our network. We have about 700+ switches on our network and we are wanting to only monitor the TenGig fiber up links. At this moment I'm using the "Template Net Cisco IOS SNMPv2" template with a modified regular expressions. In my regexp I have added the following " ^[Gg]i[1-5/]*[0-5/]*[0-48]*$ and ^[Gg]igabitEthernet$ " both as Result is False. I have used the test area to see if Gi1/0/1 would return as false and it does. So when I do a discovery it is still finding all ports on a switch and reporting them as they go up and down. Like I mentioned we are only wanting to monitor Te ports. Is there something I'm missing or not doing right? I've searched the interwebs looking for a solution and I couldn't find anything. If you have any ideas or clues I would greatly appreciate it.
