How to monitor a specific web page? (no scenario)

I'm a total noob to Zabbix and trying to get the hold of it but with no luck for the time being.
I'm trying to create an Item which will check if a certain web page returns error 500 (internal server error) or 200 (ok).
Then I will need to configure a Trigger which will check if a 500 error has arised twice within a specific time frame.
How can it be achieved?

The web monitoring configuration is well documented in the zabbix documentation on the site.

Then after that you just need to setup a trigger for the host/template that you create.
