Zabbix & Galera Cluster

Hi all,

From your experiences, could you you tell me if a setup with Galera cluster with 3 nodes with an asynchronous slave is the best way ? what is the must have for a setup growing to 10K hosts ?

At that number of hosts galera is ineffective.
Galera is more or less only kind of toy.

No just plain master-slave MySQL.
Remember that zabbix is using only SQL92 compliant queries (relatively simple) so using PostgreSQL is in this case overkill.

It is yet another quite important advantage of using MySQL over PostgreSQL.
MySQL has way better than PostgreSQL set of metrics presenting state of the SQL engine.
