zabbix vfs.dir.size Timeout

Steps to reproduce:

1. i change Tmeout in zabbix_agentd.win.cong in zabbix client
2. i run zabbix_get -s ip -k vfs.dir.size[C:/Windows/]

Result:



Expected:

i want a to monitore size of this folder "c:/Windows"

If the directory size calculation time is longer than TimeOut, you will get an error. The problem is known, repeatedly discussed. Use workarounds, such as cmd, which is run on a schedule, which calculates the size and is sent using zabbix_sender

i need to do a script ?, is it possible to do with only zabbix agent without script ?

we can change the timeout more than 30s since zabbix_agent.conf ?

1) you can take a list of usb devices system.hw.devices[usb] and analyze the presence of the desired device in it
2) if there is a log which reflects the connection \ disconnection of the device - use log[] or log.count[]

No possible to do with only zabbix agent. proven. of course you can change the source code... search on google - there were discussions.

You can't. 30s is the maximum value

can you say at the developper of zabbix agent to increase Timeout, because many server take several time to have a value size
