I recently setup zabbix 4.0 for our infrastructure. I have had setup Nagios Core previously but somehow started Zabbix. On one end I was quite happy to have things almost ready and out-of-the box while in Nagios Core, one has to do a lot of R&D. But on the other end, I am very disappointed after I had to do a lot of effort to limit notifications of every mount point to only the needed ones (from 154 items to almost 53 only). I eventually succeeded after googling and learning regular expressions (regular expressions option was also in a very odd area).
My actual query is, I didn't see any option to limit Email notifications for some hosts, time, users etc like Nagios does. And it is a basic requirement. If someone has 500 hosts and only wants to get the Email Alerts for only the critical servers while getting notifications of all of them in the dashboard then what does he has to do? I tried search over the internet but didn't succeed so far. So here I am putting the question at the forum.
