Event Log windows server 2016

Hello everyone,

I am deploying zabbix in my business and recovering all entries in the Windows Event Log.
Despite my research, even in the documentation of Zabbix, I can not solve the problem.
I installed the Zabbix agent on my Windows server and created the appropriate elements and triggers.
For example if I check my item and click on the button "Check now" an error appears: Can not send the request: wrong type of item.

"Check now" not work for "Zabbix agent (active)" items. (In case of active checks, they are initiated by the agent - not the server!)
And check that the agent configuration is set "Server Active"

Thank you for your reply. If I understand correctly I must add the ip of the server that I want to monitor with the active agent in "ServerActive"

So I have the ip of my server zabbix + that of the Windows server that I want to monitor? (ServerActive = X.X.X.X, Y.Y.Y.Y)?

No. You must have "ServerActive=you_zabbix_server" directive in zabbix_agentd.conf at servers which you want to monitor

Oh ok ! Thank you already for that, I did not know that it was necessary to edit the agent in the targeted server. Now I could see that the hostname was in capital letters and that on the zabbix server, it was in lowercase.

Now my question is: is it possible to have a secure connection between my Windows server and my Zabbix?

2) it's gonna take a little hand work. Download the agent from here: https://www.zabbix.com/download_agents in this case, we need a version that supports encryption (in the Encryption field must be written OpenSSL). Unpack the agent to a folder, for example C:\Zabbix
3) Now we need OpenSSL libraries. The best thing is to take it from here https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-3047 already built Zabbix agent. Since their versions of agents are often quite old, you can take the latest version - from it we dig out the libraries.
Pull out of the archive files libcrypto-1_1.dll, libssl-1_1.dll and msvcr120.dll in our folder C:\Zabbix
4) Сonfigure the agent and server according to the documentation
