    Multiple LLD Criteria

    Hello All,

    I'm wondering if its possible to perform and add items based off of two things.

    Example:

    I want to first discover all interfaces on a switch that contain "GigabitEthernet" or "TenGigabitEthernet"

    Then I want to determine from that list... which interfaces are up.

    The resultant list of monitored ports is significantly less than monitoring all of the ports.

    Is this even possible?

    It will be possible in version 2.3.0
    Sincerely yours,
    Aleksey

      Just define regexp:

      GigabitEthernet Result is TRUE
      TenGigabitEthernet Result is TRUE

      (you don't need zbx 2.3.x)

        kloczek:

        You didn't read the entire message.

        I want to discover and filter based on TWO criteria.

        Port name == GigabitEthernet|TenGigabitEthernet
        AND
        Port Status == UP

        Version 2.3|2.4 will offer that ability as a new feature. Thanks for pointing that out, aib.

          Any indication on when Zabbix 2.3 is likely to be released? I just upgraded to 2.2.5 recently for some nodes. Might hold off for 2.3 if it's out soon enough.

          Cheers,
          Michael

            Just to note the GA release will actually be 2.4 I believe, 2.3 is the dev version. It was already supposed to be released though based on the initial schedule, I would expect by the end of the month or early next month hopefully.
