Use Zabbix server name or DNS name instead of server IP

Dears,
kindly i want to know if i could use the zabbix server host name or even the DNS name in the agent configuration instead of the server IP because i cannot use static Ip on the zabbix server.
is there is any solutions to avoid the static IP.

Hi,

DNS name in agent configuration would work just fine as long as it gets resolved properly, most importantly right after the IP is changed for Zabbix server.
