some questions about LLD triggers

I need to replace the current trigger for disk space with anew one that combine both the free disk percentage and the free space size value. i have created new trigger prototype that have an expression.
1. does the new trigger automatically applied to all the host that are link to this template ?
2. when changing the values of the thresholds in this kind of trigger , does it the new values automatically updated for all the relevant hosts ?
3. how can i disable the old prototype triggers for all the hosts and close the open problems from this trigger ?

some environment info :
zabbix 4.0 on Ubuntu Linux monitoring 30 servers

I think the best way doesn't create the new trigger prototype but replace the expression in the existing one.
