Help to specify the begin time and end time of graphs automatically

My monitored workload are on demands. So it's not always on. The monitored data are meaningless when the workload is finished.

So I want to show the graphs exactly with meaningful workload, but I can't find apis to specify the begin time and end time of graphs.

Any suggestion are appreciated.
