log auto registration?

Hi folks,

maybe I am too blind to see, but I would like to watch auto registration events (including meta data) either in the GUI or in the server log file. Monitoring --> Events allows me just to choose between "Discovery" and "Triggers". Auto registration is not supported here, as it seems.

Is there some option or menu that I missed? Every helpful comment is highly appreciated.

Unfortunately such information is not available now. There is a feature request on this. https://support.zabbix.com/browse/ZBXNEXT-642

The only thing I can imagine for you is to Configure an Action that sends you an email in such cases.

With configure action, you could also send the registration information to a log file through a script, and then import that log into zabbix.

Not the cleanest of solutions, but would at least get you the data your looking for.
