Good afternoon all,
I am currently running Zabbix 3.2.11 on CentOS w/ MySQL.
I am new to Zabbix and I do not know much about it - I am wanting to upgrade our setup to the newest version 4.2.
However, I am not sure if any of the new features or past versions is going to break any of our current monitoring setups and triggers.
I had an idea of installing Zabbix on another PC and then Migrating my current setup to that new PC and then upgrading the system to see what breaks.
Then I can see if I can fix the broken parts and when I run the real upgrade I will already have the information on how to fix it the night I do the upgrade on it.
Does this sound like a good idea?
Is there an easy way to migrate everything over to a new machine? Does anyone know of any articles related to doing this?
Thank you in advance!
