Installation Questions

Greetings, all:

I have some pretty basic questions. I'm an IT consultant stationed at a small company. We're trying to get Zabbix running on Windows Server 2012 (VMware virtual server) to monitor our network. I'm totally new at this, and on top of that my usual day to day work is desktop-centric.
It's unclear to me what I need to install, and how to install it.
Could someone help me with some step by step instructions on what to do?

Do you mean that you already have Zabbix server and database up and running, and you are trying to use the Zabbix agent to monitor your Windows 2012 server?

Or do you mean that as of now, you have no Zabbix server/DB up and running?

Just FYI, Zabbix server cannot be installed on any Win platforms. Unix only. You can monitor Win platforms though.
