How to know where trappers comes from

    Hi guys!
We've a doubt about a trapper and need to know where it comes from.

Our sysadmins can create their owns items and send data with zabbix sender but one of them is missing and no idea where the data comes from...

    Is it possible with zabbix?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi!

You mean one of your sysadmins is missing?

Trapper items have "Allowed hosts" field, so you can limit from which hosts a zabbix_sender can send data for that host. By default this field is empty and data can be sent from any host.

Alternativery you can try to use tcpdump to understand from where data is coming.

It was resolved with the tcpdump.
What I said was that one trapper origin was missing, not the sysadmin

      Thanks a lot.
