Removal of Discovered Host

I have a host that I did a network discovery on.

The host has since been removed off the network however discovery keeps finding the host.

Is there a way to prevent Zabbix from constantly discovering the removed host?

See this manual, it's from Zabbix 1.8, but is quite detailed.
You need to create an action, that will delete hosts, that are not discovered any more.

Can you provide a little more detail I'm going through the 1.8 manual and I'm not seeing what your refering too.

I did as you suggested and created an action to remove a host if not "discovered" for 24hours and it works it does remove it. However if you check the discovery tab the host still exists and is red.

How do I get it removed from the discovery list.
