I've Zabbix configured to monitor OSPF neighborship state on over 2000 Cisco routers. So I have many notifications at a time and I need to add additional check after awhile before sending email, to prevent reaction on short breaks.
Since SNMP OID related to OSPF neighbor state disappears when neighborship goes down and item becomes unsupported, I use internal events to setup conditions for email sending.
Server OS: CentOS 6.4
Zabbix ver.: 2.2.0
