    Monitoring network ip via snmp

    Hi.

I want to monitor a linux server without idrac and without a agent.
I have done a snmpwalk (v2 public) on the network card (eth0), and it throws out ALOT of data.

Does anyone know of a plugin that can use the data from the networkcard to collect data?
I have identified a systemboard-log, harddrive serialnumbers, powersupply-status, systemboard fan status and speed etc.
    Usecase is a Dell R710.

    best regards
    Morten

There is an included template for the dell idrac via snmpv2. If the data your referring to is coming from the same mib trees you may be able to just use that template even though you dont have an idrac interface. The other possibility is to try one of the generic templates. There is also a mib2zabbix script someone wrote in the past which generates a zabbix template from
    the snmpwalk output
