How to count a discovery item?

I am trying to count the number of access points connected to the controller.
i have a discover item "AP MODEL NAME- {#APNAME}" , key "aiAPModelName.[{#APNAME}]" , snmp oid ".1.3.6.1.4.1.14823.2.3.3.1.2.1.1.6.{#SNMPINDE X}"
how do i count the item number ?

Probably no way- Zabbix works with the "values" of data elements, but not with their number.
