    Zabbix Capacity planning

    1507/5000
    Hello Dear community.

I am speaking to you today to ask for your help (I am completely confused).

It's been two weeks since I started a company-rated apprenticeship contract
The first mission that has been assigned to me is based on the Zabbix supervision tool under CentOS 7, I eagerly work on a test environment, but in the future the company plans to switch from Centreon to Zabbix (choice I valid even if my opinion does not count enormously).

I installed Zabbix version 3.0.22 with PostgreSQL DBMS, I am familiar with this tool that I find great.

Coming to the main subject: among the multiple missions that my specifications include I have to manage to do the course a planning that is capacity planning, but I'm lost I did research that, unfortunately, does not have resulted in nothing,
I do not know how to go about establishing that,
in theory I think I understood the idea: exploit the data collected by my Zabbix server to make computations over a period of time for example: for a storage server estimate from when it will be necessary to add disk space, these data being visualized on metrics.
however technically speaking, I do not know where and what to start.

If only you could frame me the top I would be enormously grateful.

I thank you in advance for your help.

thanks, but my goal is to estimate the varied resources of all the servers of the company
this estimate should be available on graphs

in my idea, the ideal would be a shell script that extracts data collected by zabbix and uses them for estimation (Prorata temporis of use)

    Thank you for your answer
