    Zabbix in multiple locations

I am looking to install Zabbix in a few remote locations and have those locations communicate back to my Zabbix at the main office. Is this possible?
Our goal is to be able to know what's going on with our remote locations without having to create a VPN between these locations. I was thinking that we could install Zabbix onto Raspberry Pi placed inside each of our locations and have these devices connect back to our local Zabbix server.
We have multiple locations in 5 states and management is time consuming. I think this solution may make things much easier.

    Is this possible?

Possible. In location installed zabbiz_proxy which establish a connection with zabbiz_server with the encryption channel.

      Hi ProServTodd,

I use this configuration with raspberry 3 b+ for proxy (300) and we have a spare passive "cluster" for each proxy, it's really fun and amazing power for us (65k server)

There is one big "but!" - a proxy in a remote location does not support sending alerts. If the channel with the proxy is broken, you will only be aware of the problem after it is restored.
        Are there any solutions?

          Hi Whols

Setup the cache of your proxy which is the database of your proxy and setup the time/delay, if the channel is broken you have an alarm from your zabbix server. I use this in production
