Check Now by Group

I have 15 hosts in a group and 5 items per host the update interval is 1h which 99% of the time is fine. However every now and then I need to do a "Check Now" for the items for each host to get current metrics. the problem is this takes an age and lots of mouse clicks etc. I could alter the template values for a short period and put them back but thats a pain too.

is there an elegant way to be able to do a check now on all the items in a selected group ?
