    Newbie help - monitoring website HTTP Status

    Hello all,

    I'm new member of Zabbix forum, and new user of that monitoring tool.
    I'm trying to check my website's HTTP status with Zabbix (Later I'm gonna configure it to monitor whole network).
    The problem is, that after configuring (probably wrong - please tell me where i made mistake), Web Scenario statistics are: Never Checked and Status Unknown. Here are steps which I have made during configuration:
    1. Creating a host group
    2. Creating a host in specific host group
    3. Creating Scenario for my host
    4. Adding 1 step to scenario (URL + Status code 200)
    5. Creating a trigger for my host ( {9494.pl:web.test.fail[9494.pl - home].last()}#0 ) - that's the exact look of trigger.

    Of course everything is set "Enabled". Moreover when I go into Monitoring -> Triggers, I can't see any trigger, the trigger is visible only under Administration -> Hosts -> table with hosts and its items.

    It might be aesier, if you post screenshots with all relevant pages of your configuration.
    Did you compile zabbix yourself, or got it from packages. If first, you have to compile it so that it has libcurl option.
    Have you tried to set log level to 4, restart zabbix_server and try to see if there are some relevant errors in the log?

      Hello,

      thanks for Your response, everything seems okay now.
      Don't know why, Zabbix didn't write in zabbix_server.conf DB password, that was the mistake.

      So stupid...

      Thank You for respons one more time.
