    Monitoring watchguard firewall device

Hello everyone, i was wondering if anyone has experience monitoring a watchguard firewall device, being that SNMP is quite limited.

We are basically monitoring traffic on each interface and ping. We would like to know if we can monitor individual policies somehow to show for example traffic coming from an specific ip on the LAN, or what policies drive the biggest traffic.

This is an old device, firebox edge 1250.

Take a look on article about Cacti & Watchguard firewall device monitoring

At least, you can download .XML files and extract the information about SNMP OID and descriptions.
    Sincerely yours,
    Aleksey

My conclusion is that my old firefox is quite limited, since no oid on that xml works for me, and i know the oid's are ok since it gets recognized by the MIB i downloaded from the company.
