    Lost (Template App Zabbix Agent)

Earlier this month I move a VM from the default linux template to a cloned template with different trigger values. When I made the move the (Template App Zabbix Agent) disappeared. How do I get it back on the host I changed.

    Thanks!

    It's hard to understand you.

Usually, any host can have as many "linked" templates as you have templates.

What did you mean when said "I move (host) from one template to other"
Did you unlink one template and link the different one?
Did you Clone host / template?

What did you do in reality?
    Sincerely yours,
    Aleksey

Tanks for your response, Let me give you the sequential steps:

      1. I linked the default Template OS Linux to hosts foo1 foo2 and foo3

      2. I needed to change some values in the template to accommodate conditions on foo1, but I did not want to globally change the template.

      3. I cloned Template_OS_Linux to Template_OS_Linux_jboss

      4. I unlinked the Template_OS_Linux from foo1 and linked Template_OS_Linux_jboss.

      5. On the Templates column of the Hosts configuration page, I now show this

      foo1 Template_OS_Linux_jboss
      foo2 Tempate_OS_Linux(Template App Zabbix Agent)
      foo3 Template_OS_Linux(Template App Zabbix Agent)

When I changed foo1's template, I lost the (Template App Zabbix Agent). How do I get it back?

      THanks

      Dave

Check the original "Template OS Linux"
It also has a tab "Linked templates" and "Template App Zabbix Agent" is there.

You can easily link your cloned template "Template_OS_Linux_jboss" to "Template App Zabbix Agent" by using the same way as you use to link any template to host.
