A complex system

Hello all,

I have a complex system and there are 2000 IP in this system, I do want to monitor with pinger. How should I set system resources? I enter configuration settings? This is a really critical system for us.

One system with 2000 IP's? There isn't enough information here to help much.... Look at the provided templates for your host flavor, Discovery rules, network interface discovery, that discovers all host interfaces. You may have multiple IP's per interface. If you can create a script on the host to generate a list of all IP's, in json format, you can create your own LLD rules for IP's. Once in inventory, add an item and trigger for ping.

The only item you want to monitor is the ping response?
If it is:
1) Create the hosts... You can create one host, export it to XML, edit this XML file adding other hosts and (re) import this file on the Zabbix or you can use the API
2) You can apply the Template Module ICMP Ping, or create a template cloning it
3) Maybe you will need to active and/or change the StartPingers on the server
