I have found almost nothing about the issue I am having with zabbix.
After about a day or so of uptime on the monitoring server I am seeing hundreds of entries every second in the /var/log/zabbix_server.log:
3180:20140827:193150.794 ssh_run() cannot close generic session channel: Unable to send EOF on channel
It is clearly related to SSH which we make use of extensively. We monitor about 3000 hosts and when this happens the load on the server jumps.
I cannot see what is happening as it begins as it rotates the logs within seconds.
Has anyone got any ideas?
