Hello everyone. I have Zabbix 4.2 installed on a centos-release-7-6.1810.2.el7.centos.x86_64 instance running on Amazon. I followed the setup tutorial from Zabbix and ran the necessary commands as instructed. Now that I have everything setup and a number of Hosts configured and reporting successfully I want to setup email notifications. I want to send only using SMTP through Amazon SES (Simple Email Service). Following Zabbix documentation I create the media type email and configure it. I have configured sending an email through Amazon SES extensively on other platforms and services so I know the settings are correct. My test fails with Connection timeout of 3 seconds exceeded when connecting to Zabbix server "localhost". Is this a Postfix setting? Sendmail setting? Zabbix setting? Zabbix Agent setting? or any other setting I might not be thinking of? Thank you!
