    It service stuck at 100%

    Hello,

    i have been searching this forum but had no success. My issue is that when i create IT Service it seems to be 100% for a period where i have active triggers for ICMP. I also noticed that when i created the IT service data from service_alarms table is missing. I tried manually to update by locating missing data like this

    select services.serviceid, events.clock, events.value from services left join events on events.objectid=services.triggerid

    I figured that triggerid is the objectid in the events table. I then import these events. Not too sure why servicealarmid in service_alarms does not auto_increment but for my test i set it like that. Now i am seeing a bunch of records in there but no change in IT services. What am i missing here?

    Also if i recreate IT Services i get a feeling that it only starts counting them from the time i created it. But in way this makes no sense since the data is there in the events table already for any previous period. I'd appreciate some help on this. Btw i am using 4.2 version.

    Hmm i have attached 3 different triggers. And when i look back in the previous month i can see number of outages but they do not reflect in the IT service at all. Only new events but nothing for the filter for a previous month. Maybe a better question is if i pull in events data back into service_alarms why is the IT service not recalculating it. It seems i lose history by recreating it. Whats am I missing here.
