Zabbix cannot ping outwards to host, but host can ping to Zabbix, what is going on?

I'm trying to monitor a Windows 10 virtual machine being run in VMWare Fusion on my Mac, from a Zabbix server being run on CentOS 7 within an ESXi server. Both the ESXi server and my Mac containing the Windows 10 virtual machine are connected via ethernet to the network. I already edited the firewall rules on both the Windows 10 virtual machine and the CentOS 7 Zabbix server to be open for ports 10050, 10051, and 80.

In Zabbix, within Configuration > Hosts under the Availability field for the host, it says error [4] Interrupted system call for the Windows 10 host.https://solitaire.onl/ 9apps.ooo/

I believe it simply means that the defined availability check failed to complete in such a way that it was unable to give useful information back to Zabbix. I would assume it refers to an ICMP ping... but it's not mentioned what exactly is being monitored.

Windows (by default) doesn't respond to the ICMP requests. Have you checked if the Window's firewall is allowing it?
Also: are you using DHCP? Have you tried to ping Zabbix from the guest?
