Host Inventory Properties withing Action Messages

Hi All,

I have been trying to output some of the information from the Host Inventory into an Action message using the object property names but it is not working eg {HOST.poc_1_name}

Is this actually possible?

I am trying to add point of contact information that will be different for each host so the host inventory is ideal for that. Could somebody suggest another way?

Patch Window Dependency

Hi all,

Could somebody suggest a good way of stopping alerts during patch windows when servers tend to restart after picking up updates?

I've had a look at trigger dependencies but they only offer specific time windows in 24 hours rather than weekly.

I have 3 weekly patch windows during which I don't want to receive any notifications.

Any advice appreciated.

Create 3 maintenance periods in Zabbix and put your servers into it.
