How to change the value of a data item?

Zabbix server version 4.4.0.

How is it possible to change the value of a data item from a user's perspective?

PS: A method based on Zabbix trapper is not suitable.

I think i can't undersant your question... Do you want to change the displayed value?
Or do you want to send a king of 'command' to the host?
Zabbix trapper is used for communication from Host to Server, so i think that's not what you want.
If what you want is to make some kind of 'command' to the host you can:
1) Implement a UserParameter that check the value and change it (let's say if a service is down you can start it, etc).
2) Use a elaborate sytem.run key, the same idea but you create it on the server, don't need to install anything on the host.
3) Create recovery actions, that are sent to the host when a problem is detected
4) If you are using snmp items you can create an external item and or action which you make a snmp_set command, etc.
