Auto detect hosts with agents

Hi all

I've just set up zabbix server and deployed the agents with the config to a few test machines
One I've added in manually under Configuration > Hosts > New hosts
This was just to test the config files ok which it was and that host is monitored

Now my question is how do I get auto discovery set up for hosts with the agent installed? Under discovery rules i've enabled it for our IP range
Is there something I'm missing?
